Navigate windows and Spaces without lifting a finger
Most window managers force you to reach for arrow keys or a mouse to switch contexts. Scopo puts everything under two keys you already know: Cmd and Tab. One hand, full control.
How it works
Hold Cmd, tap Tab to cycle windows
This is the familiar part. Hold Cmd and tap Tab to move through the window list in your current Space. Each tap advances to the next window.
Hold Tab, tap Cmd to cycle projects
Here’s the trick: keep Tab held down instead, and tap Cmd. Each Cmd tap cycles through your projects (macOS Spaces). The window list updates to show windows from the selected project.
Release both to confirm
Once you see the window you want, release both keys. Scopo switches to that window, even if it’s on a different Space.
Tips & tricks
Muscle memory
Tab and Cmd are right next to each other on the left side of the keyboard. After a few days, switching between windows and projects becomes second nature.
Combine with search
If you know the window name, skip cycling entirely. Just start typing while the switcher is open to search across all Spaces.
Shift for reverse
Add Shift to either action to cycle in the opposite direction. Shift+Tab goes backward through windows, Shift+Cmd goes backward through projects.
