A Cmd+Tab that shows windows, not apps
macOS Cmd+Tab shows one icon per app. Scopo shows every window in your current Space, sorted by most recently used, ready to switch in one release.
How it works
Press Cmd+Tab
Scopo intercepts the shortcut before macOS does. Instead of the system app switcher, you see Scopo’s window list.
See only your project’s windows
The list shows individual windows, not apps, filtered to your current macOS Space. No Slack from another project, no stray browser tabs.
Tap Tab to cycle, release Cmd to switch
Keep holding Cmd and tap Tab to move through the list. When you see the window you want, release Cmd to switch to it instantly.
Quick Switch for instant flips
Tap Cmd+Tab and release both keys quickly. Scopo jumps straight to your last-used window. No cycling needed. Perfect for toggling between your editor and terminal.
A window switcher with live previews
macOS Cmd+Tab shows a row of app icons, so you are left guessing which window is which. Scopo shows a live preview of every window as you cycle, so you see the actual content before you switch. Two terminals, three browser windows, four documents: you can tell them apart at a glance.
Previews stay scoped to your current Space, so you only ever see the windows for the project you are in. Want larger thumbnails as you navigate? That is the Preview Deck.
Tips & tricks
MRU ordering
Windows are sorted by most recently used, so the one you were just in is always first in line.
Quick Switch scope
By default, Quick Switch targets your last window across all Spaces. In Settings, you can restrict it to the current Space only.
Custom shortcuts
Prefer Option+Tab? Or something else entirely? Change the shortcut in Settings → General.
